Indiana Month-to-Month Lease Agreement | PDF – MS Word
An Indiana month-to-month lease agreement allows a landlord and tenant to negotiate terms of a short term rental contract. This type of real estate form renews each month as long as the property owner (landlord) and tenant (lessee) do not give written notice to each other altering the agreement. It is recommended that the landlord either check the tenant’s credit through a rental application or collect a security deposit and last month’s rent to cover any damage or default in rent payment.
Minimum Termination Notice
Landlord or tenant can terminate a monthly rental arrangement by delivering notice at least one (1) month written notice (§ 32-31-1-1).
