South Carolina Rental Lease Agreement Forms and Templates


The South Carolina lease agreements are intended for agents (including Realtors), property owners, and managers to rent property for fixed period of time (the standard is twelve months). The terms are usually agreed upon after an application has been reviewed by the landlord and after signature the form becomes a legal contract.

South Carolina Landlord-Tenant Laws:
– There is no limit on how much the landlord may ask for the Security Deposit.
– The Deposit (minus any deductions) must be returned to the tenant within thirty (30) days from the agreement’s end date.
– The landlord may not enter the property unless there has been at least twenty four (24) hours notice given to the tenant.
