Vermont Month-to-Month Rental Agreement | PDF – MS Word
A Vermont month-to-month rental agreement allows a tenant to occupy residential property from a landlord on a monthly basis. Payment of rent is listed in the agreement and is usually required on the first (1st) of every month. Upon acceptance, the agreement automatically updates for another thirty (30) days, with each party continuing to abide by its terms and conditions.
Minimum Termination Notice
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with at least thirty (30) days’ written notice given to the other. If the tenant has resided on the premises for at least two (2) years, the notice period will increase to sixty (60) days (§ 4467(e)).
