Pennsylvania Sublease Agreement | PDF – MS Word
A Pennsylvania sublease agreement is a way for a tenant that is under a current lease agreement to rent the entire property or a portion thereof to someone else (the “sublessee”). A standard lease will usually have language in barring a tenant from doing this, so the landlord may have to sign off either on the sublease or on some other form to allow this arrangement. The sublessor may charge any rental amount he or she would like but understands that if the sublessee does not pay, the rent is still owed in its full amount to the landlord. Also, if the sublessee refuses to leave the property, the sublessor is subject to all costs related to eviction.
